Weekly prayer focus week 44

This week, we are praising God for:

The ADVANCE!2022 conference and the international ADVANCE! training group. We thank God that He spoke so clearly to attendees at the conference, and is working in the second group of trainees; that the group grasps the idea of having a buddy, and that they want to invest in each other and take the first steps to walk together in this terrific training!

Cindy de Kroon, Songs2Serve Europe Team Leader. We are so thankful to God for this new worker for S2S, and the heart and skills she brings with her.

This week we are focusing our prayer on the following points:

Isaac Andoh, and the other ADVANCE! church planting trainees. As they learn new languages, settle in new communities, and devote themselves to the ADVANCE! church planting training, we ask that God would encourage them and open doors to all the resources they need. “One of the biggest challenges I have faced in these few months is how to begin the program and get all the necessary requirements needed for it. Although I am still on the verge of learning the Dutch language, one of the impediments is the language barrier. Hoping gracefully that God will make a way to get acquainted with the language very well.” – Isaac.

Our prayer partners, SaRang Community Church in Seoul, Korea.  While they carry their own grief and support their community after the tragedy on the weekend, may God use them as a beacon of light and hope in the wake of this devastating accident. May many Koreans and internationals come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Songs2Serve Europe. Please pray for guidance and insights from the Lord as the S2S EU team make their plans for the coming year, including planning for a new training and Songs2Serve day.

Weekly prayer focus week 45

Today we want to thank God for…
Prayer partners in Korea and America who pray for church planters in Europe WEEKLY!

Alpha courses, including a Youth Alpha group, starting this week in towns across Germany and the Netherlands. We are so thankful to God for people who are hearing the call to go and make disciples across our continent!

This week we ask you to join with us in bringing these petitions before our Almighty God…
For Lisa in Germany and Adriaan in the Netherlands; transformed lives in Alpha groups. That those people who have committed to attend Alpha courses this week will attend and be transformed by the power of God’s spirit. Please also pray for attendees who are suffering from depression.

For Philipp in Switzerland; reading the bible with their neighbours. We ask God for His Word to be truth and life to these neighbours!

For Erland in Norway; new converts. Young people are coming to Jesus after being raised in the Muslim faith. Pray that God will sustain them daily and continue to show them His love for them in real and powerful ways, and that He would use them to bring others to the same saving faith.

For Jorge in Germany; open doors for teams to share Christ with refugees and gangs. Please also pray for protection and wisdom for these teams.
